Memorial gifts to the Sutherland Foundation are wonderful ways to memorialize a relative or friend.  A special acknowledgment will be sent to the family of the person memorialized.

Business Matching Gifts

Matching gifts are an easy way to double or even triple the value of your contribution to the Sutherland Foundation.  Companies have programs that match their employees' contributions to qualified charities.  By using the matching gift program, not only will you increase the amount being contributed to the Sutherland Foundation, but you will also direct your company’s contributions to a charity that is important to you and your family.

To find out whether your company has a matching gift program, you will need to contact your company’s Human Resources Department.  If they have a matching gift program, your company likely uses one of two ways to secure your additional matching gift to the Sutherland Foundation:

1. Obtain your company's matching gift form, fill out the "Donor" section, and mail it to the Sutherland Foundation when you send your donation.  The Sutherland Foundation will complete the "Charity" section of the form and mail it back to your company.  This will confirm that we received your gift and request their matching gift.

2. A less common option it to make your donation to the Sutherland Foundation through the mail, phone, or www.rdsfoundation.org.  Upon receipt of your gift, the Sutherland Foundation will send you a letter acknowledging your contribution.  Bring this letter to your Human Resources Department who will then distribute your company's matching gift to the Sutherland Foundation.
